Project Overview

This project is a vehicle access control solution for the main entrance of a comprehensive bonded zone. The lane has a clear width of 4.5 meters. E40Pro intelligent barrier gates with 4.5m fence arm are deployed, equipped with non-spring machine core. Located at the entrance of a port-type bonded park, the site handles freight vehicles, official supervision vehicles and visiting social vehicles, with large daily traffic volume and frequent gate operation. Situated in inland northern China, the area has long cold winters and large day-night temperature differences, putting strict requirements on low-temperature resistance, operation stability and failure rate control. The solution needs to meet the regulatory demands of closed management and efficient verified vehicle access in the bonded zone.

Implementation Key Points

1. Reinforced foundation: Considering the self-weight of the fence arm and low-temperature operation, a widened concrete foundation is poured on site. The cabinet is horizontally fixed with multiple sets of expansion bolts to reduce vibration during long boom lifting and ensure structural stability in low-temperature environments.
2. Boom assembly and commissioning: The 4.5m fence arm is assembled in sections on site and rigidly fixed to the mechanism output end through special U-shaped connectors. Operation balance parameters are preset before delivery. The non-spring machine core achieves torque balance through motor torque, requiring no on-site spring tension adjustment and greatly shortening installation and commissioning time in low-temperature environments.
3. Supervision system integration: Connected to the bonded zone vehicle supervision system, linked with ANPR devices to realize automatic vehicle information verification and matching opening. It supports RS485 communication protocol to connect with the park management platform, meeting the data connection requirements of customs closed supervision.
4. Multiple safety protection: Standard obstacle rebound function automatically lifts the boom when encountering obstacles during closing. Combined with loop coil anti-crush and physical barrier of the fence arm, it forms dual protection of "equipment protection + structure control", avoiding vehicle collision damage and complying with the security standards of closed management in bonded zones.

Project Operation Benefits

For conventional spring-balanced barrier gates operating in low-temperature northern regions, spring elasticity decreases significantly with temperature drop. Coupled with the high operation frequency in bonded zones, springs are prone to fatigue failure, leading to high failure rate and frequent winter maintenance. The E40Pro adopts non-spring machine core, structurally eliminating the impact of low temperature on spring performance, greatly improving equipment operation stability and reducing long-term operation and maintenance costs.
